What WhetherWear Does
WhetherWear turns the current weather where you are into a specific outfit: a base layer, a mid layer, outerwear, bottoms, footwear and accessories. It reads the live feels-like temperature rather than the forecast number, adjusts for wind, rain, sun and how long you will be outside, and shifts with your activity, your style preference and whether you run warm or cold.
The outfit, and what decides it
The main screen answers one question — what to put on now — and it answers it in garments rather than in numbers. Underneath, the decision runs in a fixed order: what the air actually feels like, then rain and wind, then how the temperature moves across the hours you will be out, then your activity and your own stated tendency to run warm or cold. - Base, mid, outer, bottoms, footwear, accessories. A complete outfit, not a temperature band.
- One feels-like value everywhere. The reading on the main screen, in the charts and in the hourly strip is the same number, taken from the live observation for your location.
- Style modes. Casual, work and active change the garments offered without changing the weather reading behind them.
- Warm or cold tendency. A personal offset, because a threshold that suits one person can be several degrees off for another.
Planning further than now
- Hour by hour. What changes and when, so you can dress for the walk home rather than the walk out.
- The week. One line per day, aggregated from measured hours rather than from a daily average.
- Trip packing. The Pack assistant builds a list from the destination forecast, with multiple travellers and per-day styles.
- Fabric guidance. Which fibre, on which part of the body, reasoned from the measured dew point rather than from adjectives.

How it runs
It is a progressive web app. It opens in any modern browser, installs to the home screen on iOS and Android, and keeps working without a connection once installed. No account, no sign-in, and preferences stay on your device. The privacy policy sets out what is and is not collected.
